I personally, would fail Zealous Accusation against Hew at face value, as it is considered a ranged attack and doesn't benefit from +melee skill trinkets, meaning its the only attack Crusader has that can't be buffed by +melee skill trinkets

Leper only loses on dodge and crits, but even the crit point is not taking into account certian factors. Sure, crusader can fit in better with parties that don't need specific ranks to do alright, but the leper is highly specialized as a frontline warrior after all.īut let's look at the base stats of both a fully upgraded Crusader vs. Leper is weakest early game after all while crusader's usefulness is about the same the entire time. Well, that's certianly way to look at it and certianly, this is true in early game. Tl:dr a little bit of base damage is a laughable compensation for his crippling weaknesses. Crusader is infinitely better because he does more damage over time, can use Holy Lance when stuck in the back rows, or to hit back rows (he's great when paired with Grave Robbers, Highwaymen or other Crusaders), can heal and remove stress on others and meanwhile has more dodge and crit than the Leper (both more useful than slightly higher base damage). "Not dying" does not win you fights, especially if you can't even hit the boss since half of them require you to hit the back rows. Too bad all of these features are useless, and his damage is completely negated by his desire to whiff constantly. He's the living embodiment of a tank, eats damage for days, has the highest base damage, low dodge and is nigh immune to stress with his stress heal ability. Inability to hit the back two rows or do anything from the back two rows is definitely not a weakness. Yeah low accuracy (most important stat) is definitely not a weakness. โพสต์ดั้งเดิมโดย Scarlet August:I dunno, I find it to be a really good balance for Leper since literally his only weakness mid to late game is being knocked out of position.
